Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi will release a 24-page charge sheet against TRS government’s three year rule with special focus on the unfulfilledpromises made to Dalits, Girijans and Muslims, later this evening at a public meeting to be held in Sangareddy.

The Charge Sheet prepared by Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee  ‘Gadeela Paalana, Thakattulo Telangana’ with a tag line, ‘People’s charge sheet against KCR’s dictatorship’ at a public meeting, Telangana Praja Garjana, to be addressed by Rahul Gandhi on the occasion of the third anniversary of the formation of the TS.

The charge sheet will highlight the unfulfilled promises such as distribution of three-acre land to every Dalit family in the state, making a Dalit the first CM of the state and other key promises made to SCs and other weaker sections before the 2014 general election.

According to sources, the Charge Sheet contains allegations against the state government on 36 issues, besides making charges against the Narendra Modi government at the Centre on 12 issues.According to TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has not fully kept at least one single poll promise. For instance, distribution of three-acre land to each Dalit family. Same is the case with construction of double bedroom homes for the poor. Providing one lakh government jobs to unemployed youth also remains a pie in the sky. All these issues will figure in our charge sheet.

According to him, the Congress will also make some corruption charges with regard to construction of irrigation projects and realignment of some. “The state government’s flagship programmes such as Mission Kakatiya and Mission Bhagiratha have also become synonymous for corruption. All these issues will be mentioned in our charge sheet,” he added.
