Kerala Chief Minister and CPM politburo member Pinarayi Vijayan will address two public meetings in Hyderabad tomorrow. Malayali community of Telangana have made elaborate arrangements to give a warm reception to the Kerala Chief Minister and he will addres them at a meeting to be held in RTC Kalabhavan at 3 pm. Famous Malayalam poet Murukan Kattakada will render his poems on the occasion.
Later, he will participate at a public meeting organised by the CPM. The meeting is being organised to mark the conclusion of state party’s 4000-km `Mahajana Padayatra’, led by its State Secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram, since October last year.
The public rally which was to take place in Nizam College Grounds has now been shifted to Saroornagar to avoid traffic jam and inconvenience in the citizens. CPM general secretary Seetaram Yechuri, politburo member Prakash Karat, State secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram and others will speak at the public meeting at 5 pm.
Meanwhile, earlier local BJP MLA Raja Singh strongly protested for Vijayan visit to the city for addressing a public meeting, scheduled at Nizam College grounds, that comes in his constituency. Accusing that Kerala government-led by Vijayan has been adopting `politics of murder’ killing many RSS and BJP activists, he warned that he will not allow the Kerala Chief Minister to address a public meeting in his constituency.
