The deep rooted factionalism in the erstwhile Nalgonda district of Tekabgaba reached to peak when a senior party leader hit another leader of his area in the presence of AICC General Secretary and state party affairs in Charge Digivjay Singh.
The most worrying thing is that this incident took place on a day of Ruling TRS show of strength in the form of its plenary and the Opposition Congress having strategy sessions. Shocked Digvijay was seen making enquiries as to what was happening.
During the review of the party’s position in Nalgonda district, party leaders Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy and Guduru Narayana Reddy hit and pushed each other. They had a huge argument and had to be pacified by other leaders. All this happened right in front of the party incharge for Telangana state Digvijay Singh.
Digvijay Singh has been reviewing party’s position in various districts for the last two days. On Thursday, five districts were reviewed and on Friday another five districts were reviewed. Nalgonda was the last district to be reviewed.
During the course of the review, Komatireddy, who has been opposing the leadership of Uttam Kumar Reddy picked up an argument with Guduru Narayana Reddy, a known supporter of Pradesh Congres Committee President N Uttam Kumar Reddy. Things worsened and both pushed each other. Later, the attack became physical.
